Pistol Class Information and Registration:

This course teaches the basic knowledge, skills, and attitude for owning and operating a pistol safely. Students learn rules for safe gun handling, pistol parts and operation, ammunition, shooting fundamentals, range rules, cleaning the pistol, and continued opportunities for skill development.

Also, topics will include the legal and use of force laws, dealing with law enforcement, and will undergo a live-fire certification.

In order to register you need to click on the “Add to Cart” button. Prepayment is required to guarantee your seat in the class. Please bring a valid, non-expired government-issued photo ID, handgun (revolver or semi-auto), and at least 50 rounds of ammo.

Where is the Class Located?:

The class will be held at McGraw Sportsman’s Club at 3154 Ridge Road, Cortland New York 13045. Please note, we do not allow walk-ins. Pre-registration is required.

About the Concealed Carry Instructor:

Lt. Chauncey W. Bennett III began his law enforcement career with Cortland County Sheriff’s Department in 1985. Since then he has worked in a variety of enforcement positions with several departments. His compassionate and professional approach to teaching combined with his decades of experience will make you comfortable and set you up for success.
